DAY FOUR: POSTCARDS FROM PADDLES - JANUARY 29TH 2025

Welcome to Day Four of the Postcards From Paddles Event! To make the most of Paddles and Jen’s vacation, our daily magnet draws will be running a little differently from January 26th - February 4th. 

Get full event details below, but first, here’s what’s in the package today:

The value of this package is 101 Tickets aka $2020 . Any tickets sold over the 101 required will count towards the value of the "BONUS PACKAGE POT". Bonus packages will be determined on February 4th based on the total "extras" sold throughout the course of the Postcards from Paddles Event. 

HOW THE POSTCARDS FROM PADDLES EVENT WORKS:

Between January 26th - February 3rd, you’ll have 24 hours to enter in the draw that is posted each day at 9:30AM. The draw value is listed, however we are not limiting the number of ballots sold. Instead,  we’ll be putting any of the “extra ballots” over the draw’s value into a “BONUS PACKAGE POT” to be used to build a collection of Bonus Packages. 

Example: if the draw’s value is 100 tickets ($2000), but a total of 150 tickets ($3000) are sold, then $1000 will be added to the Bonus Package Pot to be used to create some awesome prizes. 

Everyone entered in the Postcards From Paddles draws will be automatically entered for a chance to win the bonus packages. So even if you don’t win the package you originally entered for, you’ll still have a chance to win something awesome! 

Winners for all packages will be drawn on February 4th for all daily draws and bonus packages. These draws will take place throughout the day as we celebrate Paddles’ return with the HOMECOMING CELEBRATION FUNDRAISER! 

The Homecoming Celebration Fundraiser will begin on February 4th at 9:30AM and will run until 4:00PM. Entries into this draw will not put you in for the bonus packages as those will already be closed, however any net proceeds over and above the draw package value will be donated to a charitable organization. We haven’t settled on which one yet, so if you would like to contribute your suggestion, please hit up the Suggestion Box with your recommendations. 

The basics for entering the draws will remain the same as they usually are, with the main exception being that Jen isn’t around to monitor it, so if you have any questions please call the store at 613-838-8828 to talk to one of the boys.

HOW TO ENTER:

- Purchase a store fridge magnet for $20 (tax incl.) to get one entry into the draw - you can enter as many times as you like (example: send $40 to get two entries, $60 for three entries, etc.)  Know your limit – play within it!

- E-TRANSFER ENTRY: Send e-transfers to jen@thathuntingstore.com AUTO DEPOSIT IS CURRENTLY SET UP but if doesn't work for you please USE THE PASSWORD Richmond (the location of your favourite store!) or use Richmond1 if your bank requires an extra symbol. Be sure to include your phone number in the message section of your e-transfer as it is required to contact you if your ballot is selected.

- PHONE/IN-PERSON ENTRY: Alternatively, you can call in with a credit card to 613-838-8828 or drop by in store. Email for details on no purchase necessary option.

- Skill testing question & VALID PAL required to claim prize. Current law also dictates that we must get a Reference # from the CFO for the winner (confirms validity of your PAL) and as such will need the email address associated with your PAL if you are the winner.

- Names and phone numbers are written on a paper ballot and are put into a box to be drawn by a random customer in the store on FEBRUARY 4TH 2025.  You will also be automatically entered into the bonus draws for this specific event. The Number of bonus draw packages is based on the total value of “extra” ballots sold, and will be determined on February 4th 2025.

- Commenting on the blog or Facebook post is appreciated but NOT required to enter and does not guarantee an automatic entry. You do not require your comments to be “liked” on Facebook before you enter, as there are times where we are unable to get to the comments until after the draw is complete.  Please ensure you do not leave any personal information (email or phone number) in publicly visible comments such as those on Facebook or on our blog. While we try our best to monitor comments and protect your privacy, there is no way we can guarantee that we will catch them all. Phone numbers and emails should only be sent to us through your e-transfer message, private messages, or email.
